Isaiah 3 discusses two different personalities, one of which is Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the other is the Mahdi who is to come near the end times. Christians and Jews might not know about this man and so he will be explained from Islamic sources as well. Isaiah 2 is a little complicated chapter due to being not very specific and impossible for the Christians and Jews to understand unless they have read the Islamic scriptures well. Even if one has read the Islamic scriptures, it is a little hard to grasp as the chapter describes two different personalities without names and all are referred to as ‘he’. It speaks in present and future tenses and discusses two different times in future. This article will analyze these tenses and the verses and explain what they really mean. (more…)
